Stainless Steel 347 Angle is an austenitic stainless steel alloy that is stabilized by the addition of niobium and tantalum. It mainly consists of chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–13%), and small additions of columbium/niobium to prevent carbide precipitation. This composition improves resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding or heat exposure.
