Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Channel is a martensitic precipitation-hardening alloy with a composition of 15-17.5% chromium, 3-5% nickel, 3-5% copper, and small amounts of manganese (1% max), silicon (1% max), and carbon (0.07% max). This composition ensures excellent strength and corrosion resistance. It offers a tensile strength of approximately 1100-1300 MPa, a yield strength of 1000-1100 MPa, and elongation of 10-15%. Its hardness ranges between 28-40 HRC, depending on heat treatment.
